Due to a corona outbreak one of the largest container hubs in the world, the port of Yantian, will be temporarily set into quarantine. It is foreseeable that this will give further pressure on the currently very tense freight and container situation.
In close cooperation with our partners, our logistics teams in Germany and China have already started to utilize reserved slots at our alternate ports in Hong Kong, Ningbo and Nansha and to examine alternative routes.
